our Why

For too long the word “girl” has been used against us. It has been used to demean, “hate,” and limit our futures. It is time to take back the word and associate it with power, strength, and courage.

It is time to love being a girl.

#ELIMINATEGIRLHATE isn’t JUST about young girls.

When we say “girl,” we mean all people who identify as female at any age.

We want to celebrate and empower females while educating the masses on how to be better advocates for equality and equity on a global scale.

It’s time to change the narrative.

It is time to #ELIMINATEGIRLHATE

OUR Vision

Our vision is to create a vibrant and inclusive community that fosters understanding, empathy, and positive change for women of all backgrounds at work, home, and play.

We envision a world where gender is no longer a barrier to opportunity, success, and safety. We want to build a world where female voices are celebrated, where stories, experiences, and perspectives on self, health, community, career, pop culture, and more are at the forefront of meaningful conversations for change.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to break down biases and barriers by sharing stories with, for, and about females that create more equitable and empathetic spaces for all who identify as ‘girl’.

It is a movement to own our stories and use them to heal the broken narratives around gender in our culture and create safe, inclusive spaces to learn, work, and play for everyone.
